The Critical Incident Stress Management Foundation Australia Inc. (CISMFA) is a non-profit open membership organisation focussed on the prevention and lessening of harmful stress, especially traumatic stress in the workplace.

The activities of the Foundation include:

• Membership scheme including regular newsletters, membership with the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation and discounted subscription to the 'International Journal of Emergency Mental Health'
• Comprehensive range of courses
• Advocacy and consultation for workplace programs
• Research into areas related to CISM

CISMFA adopts the crisis intervention model of Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) and is affiliated with the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation.
