CISMFA has a train the trainer program for several of its courses such as the CISM: Basic Group processes. These trainer programs are offered from time to time, throughout the year, in response to the need for more trainers.

CISM: Basic Group processes is a course in Critical Incident Stress Management with emphasis on the group processes of debriefing, defusing, crisis management briefing and demobilization. This course is endorsed by both the Critical Incident Stress Management Foundation Australia and the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation.
